A small group of us were watching Disney's The Black Hole over the weekend. Bored out of our tears we stuck with it when we noticed something weird in this fight between the robots V.I.N.Cent and Maximillian. Namely - when Maximillian lowers his buzzsaw hands he appears to shoot a robo-dong out right into V.I.N.Cent's face. How did no one notice this before (maybe they fell asleep because nothing happens in the movie except for this brief scene of robo dongs?) I have literally no other explanation than Maximillian is clearly a dude bot that came fully equipped.

  • vincent is the greatest robot. love him.

  • @juztiss I've built the plastic Maximillian model back in the day. Each of his two arms splits into four "appendages". Google it if you must.

  • You fail. That is clearly his arm.......

  • pleasures all mine sci-fi dude : ) hope that dont sound gay lol!

  • @sirjaunty1 Thanks bro. Some names I know but will have trouble recalling when needed. His is one of those. Have a great day man and thanks again for the remind.

  • @PotatoGunsRule that was the famous Anthony Perkins of Physco fame m8ty.

  • @sirjaunty1 I thought that was Roddy McDowell as VINCENT's voice. Thanks for clarifying. As to the hidden homosexuality, I don't agree. The guy that played, oh what was his name, got killed by Max and his blender....oh well.....he didn't "come out" as being gay until after he had AIDS.

  • theres a lot of latent homosexuality in this movie. Roddy Mcdowells' overtly camp voice over for vincent, the bit straight after this shot where Maxy has Vincent pinned up against the far wall; Vincent gets his own back by penetrating him with a flip out drill - oh and then inside the black hole itself (where it all gets far too symbolic for Disney) Max and Rhienhart get to boogie and wind up being 'joined' together. For better or worse I love this movie, but like so many of us iam not sure why.
