If i play like this with my rhodesian, he does the same thing. Bites my arm just enough to feel the pressure but I know and he knows that he'll never bite hard enough to hurt me. It takes alot of trust to let a big powerful dog like a rhodesian bite your arm. That just shows how trustworthy these dogs are. Don't ever break into someones house though if they have one of these, they are great with people they know but I never want to see what my one does to a stranger that breaks in.

When mine was a pup and older he would be grabbing my arms in his mouth when playing but never hard at all. Neat too how he would have a wide rear leg stance for balance like a wrestler would and would use his front legs like a boxer and would wrap his legs around another dogs neck and flip it on his back. Great natured smart awesome dogs!

Wow.. Mine did this too..And when you looked into his eyes he went crazy.. Ridgeback = Best companion. :)
