I was playing for 1 year and 8 months at the time, I was the person on the left, and I used the Jackson RR5 which I got the day before.
I'm bummed out after because the other amp was turned up way louder so nobody could even hear my solo at all.
And once again, only give constructive criticism.

Great, he can perform better under pressure. I would have rather had the first half of the solo, for me at least it's much easier to play.

I wasn't filming, I couldn't control where the camera was. These videos are personal videos taken by my family, they don't film them so I can put them online, they were going to film me, not find out who was playing the best and film them.

And it's not like he didn't mess up for the last 45 seconds of the song.

The kid with the RR5 should have played the solo. And i mean all of it. However, he totally got owned by the little folk on the right. Although he used a les paul, he played the solo right. The kid with the RR5 just fucked the solo up at the end, and that's a fact since he played wrong. Anyways, good performance. But in my opinion, the kid on the right deserves the RR5.
