Muhtaram Dr Khalidi!
Bien sur!
I assent to your correction. This is your peom and you are the authority on what it does mean. As they say beautifully in Arabic:
"Al-ma'nâ fi qalbe shâ'er."

B: We are neither against Fars nor against Farsi. It is obvious from your golden voice that you are an Afghan and a Dari-speaker.
Why you call your poems FARSI? We respect you as our own father. Not because you are so older than us. No. You are, al hamdulellâh, young & sound and strong. It is out of sheer respect.
C: Either you yourself translate your Dari poems into Eng or let others do it. There are many who like Afghan literature but do not understand Dari or Pashtou.
کار بسیار زیبا اما فکر نمیکنید اگر فعل "خواستن" که در شعر حالت شخص سوم آن (خواهد) آمده است را "خاهد" تلفظ میکردید بهتر بود؟

We tried to translate the beginning stanza in your beautiful poem Aiina or The Mirror, recited in M Naderas sweet voice.
Dr Noor Ahmad Khalidis poem in Dari:
Âyina niz ze man sorate qabli khâhad
Ou ze man chehra ye man râ neshâni khâhad
Eng:
Even the mirror asks me for that previous face of mine
Yes, it is asking me for the address of my own face

Dear friends,
1. I am humbled by your interest and comments. a few points for clarification:
First, I never called my poetry "Farsi" they have always presented as Dari although, in written form there is no difference. I presenting Mehdi Hassan's song "Dishab..." I called it Farsi in respect to what it was famous for in Pakistan.

2. Second, except in one, there is no Bollywood background in my clips. The female faces you notice in this clip goes with the meaning of the poem, a sad face of a woman thinking about her last years while a female is reciting the poem. The dance in the clip related to Darya is an exception as the song was a fast one.
Third, your translation of the first verse is perfect. The second verse: "it is asking me of any evidence that it is my face!!".
