sad situation, she was a beautiful young girl, I watch most of that guys videos and he was really obsessed with that girl, talking about how he wanted to get at her. I guess she was seeing somebody according to one of his last vids I seen. next thing I know I hear about this situation, so maybe that was the motive. he had serious mental problems and long term depression. his parents should have got that dude help foreal.

@johnny2cold You are the only one who seems to "get it" on here. But Powell wasn't the only one responsible for Asia McGowan's (and his own) murder. All who egged him on when he crazily ranted and railed routinely against black women (but the keyword is Black) is indirectly responsible for their murders. The EXTREME, INSANE mass hatred of Blacks embodied by Powell killed two Blacks. Though you couldn't prevent the tragedy, YOU are a hero for even standing up against the grouphate. Thank you nth.

did know Asia personally. We grew up in the same area, went to the same school, and both participated in the Ecorse marching band. She was indeed a ver sweet humble and just all around beautiful person. Her her father and 2 sisters lived on 15th street. Her family didnt have money but they were very close and very respectful of one everyone even when people werent to them. Point being. She was taken away for no reason at all. She was classy and respectful and sweet. R.I.P Asia
