@siamiam yeah thats how it is here in winter. very little wind, just a whole lot of rain rain rain. even if you were to make a hydroelectric gutter system & get it to work, it would generate very little power. summer is the time when wind & solar energy become fluent around here, and ironically is the time we need it the least.

You could use DIY Wind Turbines, they use the Wind to generate electricity and are just as effective as solar panels, and cost only couple of hundred dollars to build and install,
