Took my Nikon D90 and a Tamron 28-300mm lens and shot the entire job with one camera on assignment for International Press Association to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.

I was to take shots and do site tours of two Iberostar properties, their new Iberostar Grand Hotel Bavaro and their Iberostar Bavaro, both on the same beautiful white sand strip.

The Bavaro is for families and the Grand is for Adults Only. This hotel is an older and more casual resort with lush tropical settings and a beautiful lagoon type pool. It was bustling with activity during our visit, but unfortunately, we were not able to stay there to sample their facilities or their food.

I hope this presentation will help you if you are thinking of staying here. Please see all of my other videos and reviews both here on YouTube and on our web site at: http://internationalpress.com

  • My mom was just there

  • @msarianna9 How did she like it?

  • Should be in the 80' to 90's but would check on Google search for weather reports before you go because it is hurricane season that time of the year. You will have a great time and let them know you saw the video from International Press Association's web site. Read our review on our site for more information.

  • Love the food of this hotel

  • @NoEgg4u small ants? Suck it up whiner

  • We're going there soon, and we usually go to the hotel beside it, but we thought we might try out this one. Looks amazing!

  • I stayed at this hotel in Dec, 2010.

    The bad:

    - A/C in the room was borderline satisfactory.

    - Small ants in the room.

    The good:

    - The help was fantastic. Service was top notch

    - There was food for every taste, plenty of it, and almost all of it was delicious

    - Better in person vs pics

    - The beach was beautiful. Speed boat rentals, etc., are available a stone's throw away (not affiliated with the hotel), or you can book through the hotel, but it costs more and out of the way, etc

  • Great hotel!

  • this place is the best am going again in november and yes it looks just as good in real life as it does on here

  • what kind of weather can i expect from augst 30th to september 9th?
