  • One important thing all the members of the ATA spoke about, was the fact that those who didn't do any shooting had the option of going shopping, to the Air Force Museum, movies, eating out and other events in the local Dayton/Vandalia area. The place in Illinois is isolated, forcing everyone to either bring food and entertainment, or do without. Obama couldn't have planned it any better, if he'd been involved.

  • One sad thing about Vandalia is the fact that the Chamber and City government allowed the ATA to be taken away. Some jerk physician on the board bought some isolated land in Illinois and he forced the ATA board to move a historic Vandalia sporting event to an anti-gun state. I interviewed ATA board members, ATA members from around the country and they were all against it. Not one person was positive toward the move. Now, they're in hell, in Illinois.

  • In any case, Mike Noble made one heck of a great video about Vandalia, Ohio.

  • When I watch this video, it reminds me of Jack Nickolson's line in "As Good As It Gets" as he talks about how some folks had "good times and noodle salad", then he follows up by saying "just no one sitting in this car." That sums up my experience at VBH, no good times, no noodle salad. However, as life went on, the good times and noodle salad finally came along. However, for all of us, every once and awhile, a fly has to land right in the middle of our noodle salad, but, that's life.

  • Yes, this brings back great memories for me, of being in the worst class ever of VBH, which was the illfated class of 1969. In fact, I'm constantly reminded that we were the worst class, lamented about to everyone by all the teachers during that period of time. I think the entire class was voted most likely to go to prison. Lucky for you viewers that Mike Noble graduated with the class of 1970. Don't get me wrong, allot of 69'ers have done well, but many went right down the toilet.

  • Look for an update on this video from Mike Noble, which will include the newly built schools. It'll be a comparrison of the old and the new.
