'Phoenix' - Theatrical Trailer 2010

The story that takes you behind the camera into the secret life of River Phoenix.

- This is a fictional trailer for a biopic about the life of River Phoenix, starring Alex Jordan (Urbanartuk).

The film was made as part of a media studies project, after writing a critical investigation on a topic in the media we needed to create a media product that linked. Our investigation was about drug use in movie biopics and if we should be trying to show more of the heartache that goes with these stories of fantastic people who made mistakes that sometimes cost them their lives. Our investigation was also on government funded projects to raise awareness.

I think a movie about River Phoenix would be great. Not only was he a talented actor, but a strong environmental activist who also had a caring heart for animals by not eating meat. River captured our hearts through his films, music, and life values. His tragic passing shocked us all. I don't want to remember his death but remember the way he lived. Knowing the world once had a River Phoenix puts a smile on my face.

never seen such shitty trailer and such shitty acting and intentions....

they surely don't know anything about River, the actors simply can't act, the main character doesn't look like River and the topic is extremely stupid and narrowminded. I'm not surprised to see crappy stuff like this these days, it's just keeping the average of current artistic poor quality.
