I think many can agree it wasn't particularly original anyone who saw Dances With Wolves can tell you that. But it was still an enjoyable movie with some great acting and it was visually stunning and thats why you see it. You go to the cinema and you get the wow factor when you watch it. Let's face it you can't really do anything in cinema thats never been done before we always recycle storylines. Let's just enjoy cinema and not worry about the tiny details.

@Bandeeboy92 There were too many continuity errors. Humanoids wouldn't occur on a hexapod/reptilian planet like Pandora. Either way, it was a good test of CGI tech, and a moderately interesting movie. The animals were well done, and the biology was intriguing to say the least. Human engineering looked functional, if not perfect.

Well, the story isn't so cool, isn't so creative. But... the feelings, the atmosphere.... iif it get you, it will never release. I saw this movie 3 times in the cinema, and I just can't stop watching it. My favourite piece of this movie, when Neytiri train Jack how to live like one of "The People". When I saw this, I felt like I want to go Pandora, live here, live like this creatures....
