@dylancohen10 Actually Solo HD (PRODUCT)RED came out in March and hit Apple stores in April.

I thought all beats by dre are HD sound, so why are there now solo HD's

Solo HD have less emphasis on bass and provide a high definition sound for clearer mids & highs. They also have a glossy finish like the classic Studios.
