One of the numerous things I'll change with my re-edit of Endgame, is gonna be the dates (well, not all of them).

One of the changes will include the change of the 1712/1715-set flashbacks to them (the flashbacks) being set in 1747/1750 respectively. The reason for this change is very specific: It just makes more sense for these flashbacks to be set in a post-Culloden time, to both showcase how Duncan might've wanted to settle down and live a normal life after the blood bath he subjected himself with until 1746, and to also sorta indicate why he left the continent in 1750, with Kate's death being the last straw to his suffering in Europe.

If nothing else, Duncan's comment about the clans being destroyed makes more sense now, as he's now clearly refering to Culloden.
