Part 2 of 3. WHAT DID HE KNOW, & WHEN DID HE KNOW IT?" In Part 2 of the sadistic Sandusky story, I talk about how JoePa should of done more to see that a. Sandusky would be legally punished for his actions, and b. to follow up, ensure the proper action was taken (In the 2002 incident or before if Joe knew anything) to ensure that not only Jerry Sandusky never harms another child, but to raise the awareness level so that no child in that area, or any area is ever harmed again. A message like that, and an awareness of the issue coming from a LEGEND like JoePa would have elevated him to an even higher level than he, or anyone could even comprehend. Unfortunately, you make decisions in life and you face the consequences, good or bad. Joe had something that all of those young children never had, a choice! I explore how JoePa's choice most likely would have been different if the child in the shower was JoePa's Grandson. By changing the situation, & personalizing it, we often realize where our mistakes lie. In NO way am I playing Monday Morning QB or asking Joe to play that, I am simply proving my theory correct, that is - JoePa & Penn State made the decision that a successful football program is more important than the lives and childhood of a handful of boys that came from broken homes; and even though these boys suffered abuse that most of us can not even mentally comprehend, it was all worth it because JoePa told the Athletic Director. FORGET 9-1-1, THAT BOY WASN'T RELATED TO JOEPA...

  • If Joe Paterno had a gun he would have ran and got it.

  • It's hard to comprehend how a 28 yr old supposed man would run to his dad when a child needed him to intervene to stop a brutal assault. Without harping on maturity and "frat boy" immaturity it's evident that McQeary is a child himself that failed as a man when it counted the most. Moral courage was obviously absent.

  • Well stated.

    "Penn State.....meet Karma"

  • When you are a witness to a crime, you call a COP ! You don't call your Momma, girlfriend, Priest, or the F*cking Athletic Director,.. YOU CALL A COP ! That's it !
