Opel's all-new battery-powered electric vehicle that can travel 100 kilometers (61 miles) for one euro ($1.36), weighs a third of a modern small car and can reach 120 km/h (75 mph) in less than 13 seconds. http://goo.gl/ek8Dj

  • Great. And it'll never make it to the market.

  • @grungerman:

That "wasted space" is for aerodynamics and weigh savings. That is why it is so efficient.

  • All that wasted space between the cabin and the rear wheels! You could fit another person or a cavernous boot-space in there.

  • I thought that was a simulation LOL!

  • You could probably travel an extra 20 miles if all that openy closey crap wasn't suckin the shit out of the battery..

  • Looks like a complicated way in and out.. what if you had a pit bull chasing you and you had to wait for all that crap just to jump in your car.. duh.. Fail!
