Indeed the the Copts of Egypt have been marginalized and discriminated against however Muslims have as well by the status quo of Egypt. Take for example Sinai where the people of Sinai the majority of whom are Muslims aren't allowed similar to the Copts to achieve high rank in the military, police, they are prevented from voting (as if it mattered) etc... this is why since Mubarak has stepped down there has been a surge of violence in Sinai against the military, police, and government.

It really makes me made that christians have been in eygpt for nearly 2000 years and they are being forced out.
