I have just seen this presentation an my reaction is sadness. Sadness at the greening not happening and not likely to happen.

Corporations make trillions of pounds out of polluting technology, resisting every move to introduce controls and green alternatives.

The upbeat ending just helps us to sleep on: "good, things are changing, it will be all right in the end".

Wake up! Corporations will destroy the world while we are sleeping in our complacency.

Any activists wanting to follow up and make it happen?

Reform Corporation Laws; put externalized costs back into balance sheets; put fuel taxes on aviation fuel; reward voluntary simplicity with a basic income, etc.

It's the whole system that is rotten!

Sorry to say, but the picture portrayed of "alternate" energy sources helps companies that make such equipment, not the planet in the long run. You'd have to exterminate 5.5 billion people to make the human population match the "sustainable number" you hear quite often. And those "alternate energy" machines can't be made with the energy they themselves provide. Not when you go back to mining through production alanysis. The answer is there, but not easy to see. Can you figure it out?

What I disliked (and what made me as angry as hell) in this video, that once again, people couldn't make differences between smokestacks and cooling towers... HELLO!!! THERE IS A DIFFERENCE, YOU NUMBS! Funnels produce smoke... Cooling towers on the other hand, produce steam... And ONLY steam! REMEMBER? Clouds are made of STEAM! Clouds produce RAIN! Rain is pretty often COLD! Global WARMing is a problem!
GET THE POINT?! COOLING TOWERS ARE NOT HEALTH HAZARDOUS OR POLLUTING!!!
SMOKESTACKS ARE!!!!!

WE HUMANS have the most beautiful planet of the Universe . Shall i repeat : the most beautiful planet of the whole Universe ...and we behave so ungrateful and ungraceful , just very unpleasant for all the Co-members who share the same privilege .Life is a privilege , not a c%mpetition .

Alright then... But, you'll need the breeze from the right direction, and with the right strength...
So it's OK, but not always optimal, such as my idea: powering boats with solar panels...
