Im not really sure why everyone is posting such negative things about this video, I think its just meant to be a cute visual for going green. No need for hate.

This video excessivly simplifies some huge issues with wind. Without going too far into detail, you need to consider: Cost of building (both in money and energy/resources), useful energy production (what happens when turbine power output and demand do not match), and the lifetime (how often do components have to be replaced, and what cost does this entail). If you go back to the turbine manufacturers themselves you may be disapointed with the figures you get out. There are better solutions.

What a load of bol****s. Install thousands of wind turbines and the earth will be happy and light and fluffy. Yeh - right !!

Any activists wanting to follow up and make it happen?
Reform Corporation Laws; put externalized costs back into balance sheets; put fuel taxes on aviation fuel; reward voluntary simplicity with a basic income, etc.
It's the whole system that is rotten!

I have just seen this presentation an my reaction is sadness. Sadness at the greening not happening and not likely to happen.
Corporations make trillions of pounds out of polluting technology, resisting every move to introduce controls and green alternatives.
The upbeat ending just helps us to sleep on: "good, things are changing, it will be all right in the end".
Wake up! Corporations will destroy the world while we are sleeping in our complacency.
what the hell are those spinning fans
