Farrell and Farrell, I couldn't live without you

Bob and Jayne Farrell ( Farell and Farell ) are a husband and wife act, they sang Christian music that was pop/techno kind of sound, Jayne has one of the most beautiful voices that I've ever heard, which is why I can't believe that this is the very first Farrell and Farrell video on youtube

Farrell and Farrell recorded eight albums from 1977-1989, they quit touring in 1991, and since then have been all but forgotten, they returned to the music scene in 2008 with their Christmas album " Acoustic Christmas " a departure from their normal techno sound, and a magical down to earth Christmas album, that can put almost any other recent Christmas album to shame

Their official website address is " farrellandfarrell.com " from there, you can purchase several of their albums, and catch up with what they have been doing the past 20 years, you can even send them fan mail, and they almost always respond too, they are great people with some awesome songs, that deserve to be remembered, I mean, if youtube forgets you, that's pretty harsh, so here it is, youtubes first Farrell and Farrell video ENJOY

  • I understand they just lots everything they had in the Nashville floods. I live here, and it's pretty bad.

  • @daratucker You mean that Bob and Jayne lost everything in the flood ?

Is that where they live now ?

  • @VinylCountryMusic Yes. They did. They're in Nashville.

  • @daratucker That's too bad. I wonder if " everything " includes the " master tapes " of their albums :-(

  • Saw them in concert in OKC in the 80's and still have "Let The Whole World Know - Live" album. Just don't have a way to play it anymore. Loved "After All Those Years" so much we had it sung at our wedding 24 years ago today. Could you put that song on YouTube also? Thanks!

  • @shezascooterlady I'm sorry, I didn't have that song until about a week ago, it is a really great song, I can e-mail it if you want me to ?

  • sorry, but who're they? :)

  • finally!!! I've been looking for them forever on here and everywhere!

  • I had the honor of hosting a show in Oklahoma City back in the early days of this great music, on KJYO Jan Herlocker(sic) hosted before me, John Zondlo did after me. The show was originally called Lifesong, when the station changed formats we called it Joysong and I hosted the show up until June 1982 when John Zondlo took over while I traveled with The Continental Singers. Bob and Jayne were real pioneers in this music and I am grateful for having a small part in its history. Great Memories!!

  • I saw them briefly on Extreme Home Makeover las night and had no idea they had been so affected by the floods. I love their music and listen to it today. A lot of their music is on iTunes(YAY) plus they sell some CDs on their website.

  • @VinylCountryMusic Yes, they lost everything. Check out the facebook group page "save farrell and farrell"

  • To shezascooterlady: My wife and I sang the song to each other at our wedding 27 years ago. It became a prophetic statement over our lives and we've since lived out the lyrics. I wonder how many other weddings had "After all Those Years" sung.
