what do they have air compressors for i thought they were electric over hydraulic. allso is the 5 in 5130 was that gonna be all the cats new number instead of the 385 would they have been a 585 if that makes sense

The air compressor has nothing to do with the machines fluid power. How do you think the grease pumps and the horn work, lol.
No Cat called their original mining excavator line the 5100 series. The numbers have no relationship with the smaller construction series.

We have 4 of them working here as well as a 5230. I personally dont like the machines.
