Shawntel began her career as an event planner when she attended college at the University of Georgia. She served in the school's section of the National Council of Negro Women as the Programming Director, scheduling and organizing various community events, programs and meetings. She successfully increased overall attendance by 75%. Shawntel discovered her passion for event planning and later started SOA Event Concepts. One of her major goals is to have clientele outside of the state of Georgia.
