Kai 14.5 months

7.07pm His 16 yr old brother picked him up so I could give him his medication, he had had 2x simple breath holding spells during the afternoon.

History of breath holding spells which resulted in a status epilepticus lasting over 90 minutes and 24 hours intubated in ICU. Diagnosed 3 months later with Reflex anoxic seizures (RAS)

it makes me so mad! I wish there was a cure for these kinds of things...it hurts so badly to see a child go through something like this and as a parent you feel so helpless.

This is exactly what my 12 month old daughter has been doing for the past few months. She was diagnosed with severe BHS and has these seizures all the time. How is he now, just wondering?
