Lyle Watt - Egnater Rebel 20

I got myself a new amp for gigging with - an Egnater Rebel 20. Exactly what I was looking for - portable and powerful. But when I was looking into these amps, I couldn't find much on youtube, so I thought I'd make a demo. I used my Ibanez JS1000 with Dimarzio pickups (Fred bridge, PAF Pro neck), and my strat with a Dimarzio chopper in the bridge. Plugged straight in, no effects, miked with a shure SM57.

At about 4:10 the led on your amp is red when before that it is blue........did you modify your amp??

@stratele76 The LED on the amp is actually blue, but for some reason the camera was picking it up as red and blue. I should probably get a new camera...

i don't know man? your playing is great but the amp has this muffled sort of sound to it...almost like a more compressed solid state tone rather than the mid range clanging of a tube amp?  I notice this on the Guitar Magazine review as well? I don't know if its just me?

@fmbighair That's probably because I had the amp at a very low volume - I could talk over it without too much trouble. The amp didn't get a change to open up like it would if it was cranked.

Have you cut-out the noises of the amp, or reduced it within DAW, or this Egnater just don't produce annoying hum? :D
