  • The bag floating method for acclimation requires constant supervision and the pouring of water into the bag produces step changes in water chemistry, which is less than ideal since you want to do it on a drop-by-drop basis. Doradon acclimation system allows the simultaneous equalization of temperature and chemical conditions and is very easy to use.

  • @JmeJian90 yellow with black is a ram(very good fish)and the black with yellow stripe is called a black neon tetra

  • does anyone know the types of fish the guy got? The what was the yellowy kinda one with black on it, it was at about 3.56 and also the black ones before with a white stripe?

  • True, not to mention being transported is stress ful for fish so they excrete at a greater rate during transit, you don't really want to be putting effluent into your clean water

  • good idea not to pour all the different bags of fish in after acclimating. rather scoop them out with net, because different waters from different tanks at the store will mix together, and certain fish in 1 of the bags have acclimated to the water in the tank, not in the other bags.
