There are four types of people out there in the world. In network marketing, its really important to develop your people skills as essentially network marketing is a peoples business. You must make life long relationships with your business partners to succeed. I will go through the four different types below and explain how to interact with each.
1. The Yellows. These people are very much the understanding people in the world. They put everybody else first and crave peace and tranquility. They enter network marketing more for the helping of people than the money. They are true relationship people and will usually make bits of themselves to be readily available for their loved ones.When talking to a yellow, stress the importance of helping other people. Do not talk about the compensation plan as it will turn them off straight away. Talk about the relationships that they will make which will in turn help many people financially. Yellows are excellent network marketers as they put everybody else first. They are destined for success with right support.
2. The Blues. These people are very much the fun people of the world. They need to be having fun in whatever they do. They also are fantastic promoters and broadcasters as long as they are having a good time. You notice a blue straight away by their upbeat mood and their fun outlook on life. You attract blues into your team by only talking fun. Talk to them about the vacations they can take when they are on board. You must get across the point that building a down line is great enjoyment as he/she will meet many new people which will have totally different interests. Variety is the spice of life with the blues so always be upbeat with them and they will be fantastic business partners for you.
3. The Greens. These people are very much the analytical people of our society. They scrutinise and ask about everything before they make a decision. What these people crave is information. They will ask you to infinity questions about your network marketing business. The great thing about greens though is that once they finally make up their mind to join you, they will stick with you thick and thin. So when you come across these people, give them as much info as possible. They like people who can give them the answers so give them the compensation plan, information regarding the company, etc. The more information you give them, the better chance you have of them signing with you as a business partner.
4. The reds. These people are the people that think they hold all the power. They are the business people and corporate executives that only think of the bottom line. They see a network marketing business as truly a sales business. They want to see the compensation plan straight away and their only concern is the money. They way to attract a red is to show him the huge income potential with your company. Any red will always be motivated by high income compensation plans. Also a great way to motivate a red once he is in your team is to give him a target that you believe he can't reach. They will do anything to break records and as a result earn alot of money so always remember with them, its money and power.
Use this information wisely. You can't treat everybody the same. By changing your dialect with certain network marketers, your success will soar!

Most people fail for a simple reason...they don't do what they agreed to do to make their opportunity work. Duplicate. They don't have an opportunity that is built for a lifetime anyway. But it's all numbers. Get 2 and your 2 get 2. People are lazy.
