Porsche AG is introducing a new top version of the Porsche Boxster, a light mid-engined roadster, which will make its world debut at the Los Angeles Motor Show in December this year. Weighing just 1,275 kg or 2,811 lb, the Boxster Spyder is the lightest model through-out the entire range of Porsche cars. The new model is entering the market in February 2010 as the third version in the Boxster range, joining the Boxster and Boxster S.

  • It's made for the enthusiast....enthusiasts will know the difference.. Every 911 looks the same to an average person.

  • Nice car, but a bit redundant. Not much of a differentiation between the Spyder & the basic Boxster. Probably not the best idea.

  • no roof, DOH!

  • is a beauty car X3

  • even though Porsche say that each of their car is redesigned and looks different, they don't, they need a new designer cause it is getting boring seeing the same style for years and years. The Carerra GT was the best thing that happened to Porsche since the 911 first came out.

  • Show the front of it damn it

  • I actually think a non enthusiast will know the difference between a boxster(S or regular) and a boxster spyder much easier than all the 911s. The targa roof is not that obvious, and you can't tell if it's Turbo if you don't know what you're looking for. The only big difference is the absence or presence of a spoiler.

  • Even non-enthusiasts know the difference - two humps behind the seats. The difference in the 911 line-up is engine (turbo) and removable roof (targa). Those differences are a bit more pronounced. That's my only point.

  • Meh, never liked the boxter.

  • It's ok...

  • Very Nice I will film it soon

  • looks badass.
