Brings back old memories.

@babclayman1 They usually include more than one version of the ride to make it more enjoyable for people who as already been on the ride. They do it in "Space mountain" and the haunted house too.

There are some theories on this on the Wookieepedia Star Tours article. If it is indeed canon the most reliable theory is that the ride involves a third previously unknown Death Star. Or it isn't a Death Star all but a so called habitation sphere.
I have a thought myself that I'd like to add to this. Wouldn't there be millions of droids in the Star Wars galaxy that do not only look exactly like R2D2 but have the same name as well?

I was just about to comment saying it sounded like Pee Wee Herman, but is it really? I see a lot of other comments about it. Is that Paul Reubens?

in October of 2010, Star Tour will be closed for remodeling and instalation of new film of Star Tour 2 in 3D.

When he says "Oh no! Comets!" you can clearly hear PW Herman in him.
-
Paul Reubens does a GREAT voice for RX-24! You can hear Pee-wee Herman in his voice!
-
Around 1:44, I think I can hear the sound of a TIE fighter
Hehe nice.
I noticed some differences in this version
Like in this version he says "OH no! Comets" while in the version at the park he goes "Comets? Comets!"
Also He doesn't say "I have a very bad feeling about this" nor "Hang on Back there! Lightspeed!"
Plus he says his tractor beam line in a different tone of voice.
Interesting seeing beta versions of rides.
Good vid overall =)

If this is part of the Star Wars canon, the question is WHEN? R2 can't be in the Endor Express and Luke's X-wing at the same time
