This is a Single Coil Dual Pole Pulse Motor. I made the motor from a used 120 volts AC shaded pole motor. I cut the core to a C shape and the rotor to a Z shape. The contacts are now a salvage commutator I took off a junked electric motor. I also used its original brushes. I made a lexan plate to hold the brushes in place and it is also adjustable so I can change the timing on the fly. In this video it is running on 24 volts dc at about 318 ma. In this test I am collecting the back EMF in a capacitor which has a 120v 7.5 watts bulb as a load. With that load the back EMF voltage in the capacitor is around 21 volts DC and supplying 18 ma to the bulb and at no loss to the motors RPM, actually if the back EMF collection is cut off the motor actually consumes about 20 ma more. This motor is only to prove that back EMF collection is possible. It is not perfected. I will make other improvements and post the results later. So stay tuned for test 4.

Thanks for looking
