Well this took a while, it's sped up like a mofo, but it's good enough :D
I hope you enjoy! Comment if you will.

I do not own any rights to the music, They are as follows:

AB Project - Eternal Optimism ( Firestorm Remix )
Dj Tiesto - Sweet Misery

Recorded with Camtasia Studio.

Modelled with 3DS Max 2010.

  • I'll probably be able to do this after i learn how to model a car(pretty much the same technique surprisingly) but can you just tell me what size did you use for the planes on which u put the pics? And what settings should I use when exporting from cad?

  • @Dhruv1223:

Ermm.... In terms of modelling a Car, that's pretty different, that's more organic surface than a house is. You would have to set that up a little differently.

However to answer your question, Dimensions seldom matter when using them for blueprints, ALL that matters is that they match up 1:1. so the house was

    X axis Plane blueprint = 1451 x 600

    Y Axis Plane blueprint = 600 x 600

As for exporting into Cad. I'm not sure. for the mesh I'm sure something like Dwg would do.

  • I feel sorry for your students, Idiots teaching. I guess the end is almost near.

  • @TheTeamM3X sure thing... id be pretty impressed if anybody actually managed to learn anything from it. thanks for the response.

  • Bad luck for you my friend - the 009 sound system is possibly the worst music ive ever heard on my whole life of being a 3ds max teacher!. I unsubed and disliked everything from you my friend - hahahahahhaahahhahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha - oh yeah - and by the way mate - usted es un coño - chuparme la polla de mierda. sorry man.

  • @3DSClep15 Lol, for a 3ds max teacher, you're awfully impatient with people.

So the song sucks, I know that... I just picked it off youtube lol.

But hey, it's your choice, I don't really need you subscribed nor do I really need your "likes".

But thanks for adding to the view count! :)

  • Interesante la forma de modelar; pero para ser franco haberlo modelado en AutoCad e importarlo a Max, hubiese sido más sencillo. Lo demás se me hace una perdida de tiempo innesesaria.

Yeah I know car modeling is different, but the tutorial dvd I have uses the same technique of modeling along the contours of the car in each viewport, exactly the way you're doing. So I can use pretty much the same technique. And no problem about the cad thing. I just got a dvd set for architecture visualisation that should teach me about setting up my cad files. Though they don't have exterior modeling in their course only interior. :(

  • this is really cool, thanx for the upload man.

well bad for beginners ofcourse lol

  • man it sucks i mean no one teach good on youtube plzzzzzzzzz make a tutuorial and teach us how to creat house i wanna learn I WANNA MAKE A BIG CITY
