On Jan. 2, 2012, Universal Orlando closed its iconic Jaws ride and Amity area permanently to make way for a new attraction. Inspired by the Steven Spielberg film Jaws, this video takes a cinematic approach to paying tribute to the attraction which first debuted at Universal Studios Florida in 1990. Featuring John Williams' famous score, multiple camera angles, and a few added sound effects, this video not only captures the action of the attraction but does so as if it were a movie - a Jaws sequel of sorts.
Two female boat captains / skippers were filmed on three separate trips around the Jaws lagoon, all edited together to create one seamless tribute to the ride.

It makes me so happy that stuff like this exists. So I never have to forget the majesty that was the Jaws ride.

They took down the Jaws ride?!? That makes me want to cry sooo hard... My parents never took me to Universal and I had planned on going this summer for that ride specifically. =^[
