the longer you leave them on there the more toaste you will get. it wont really make a difference in toughness

This is the closest video you have made to how Aussies do BBQ steaks.
I usually use a propane bbq hotplate to do my steaks and find a better result with better cuts like rump, tbone and fillet than using my weber grill with charcoal..

@BarbecueWeb Hey guys,I got me a whole arsinal of old hickorys,Bought me a old hickory cleaver last week!They sharp as hell and the best thing about it is I know my grandkids grandkids will be using them one day.Hope they dont let em rust up!
Sir you need to invest in a Chefs Knife. Japaneses or German is the type i prefer !
