please help a fellow alice user. how do you make a person (you astronaut or in my case my samurai) hold onto and object while rotating in place (like the flag your astronaut is holding and the spatula my samurai is holding [long story. I plan to put it on youtube when its finished]). 1 more thing: how do you get an alice movie on youtube? Thank you for your time

under the properties for the spatula, set its vehicle to the samurai's hand, so that it will move with it where ever it moves.
and it depends. alice has a export video feature built into the program under file >>> export video >>>> (record, etc) and voila, you have your video
If you dont like how alice exports your video, try downloading a sceen capture program and record the alice window as your world runs.....
