This guy kicks as much ass as he did when I saw him 30 years ago

@SirDa5id you and lostwoods need to listen to Racing, Metal Mad and King of pain!

People that keep talking shit about the new stuff, Everlasting, spiritual canoe, and King of pain are amazing albums. Hes become a better musician over the years, and it obvious when you listen to different eras. And his solo albums are ALL amazing, especially made in hawaii.

@lostwoods Can't agree with you more. His newer stuff is flat-out embarrassing. His last good album was Wa. One thing is certain, Akira has always tried to change his persona with trends and time, which would explain why he's horrible now and also why he was technically a better guitarist in the 80's.

Hes almost 50 now & still rocking. This guys playing just gets better, & better. I never understood why people didnt like the newer albums. They we're heavier, & different. That doesnt make them bad, just because you cant grasp the fact that bands like to change around their sound sometimes. Then again most people believe their "opinion" is fact when in fact everything is subjective unless it is a fact. Like the fact that bands change their sound. It would be boring if you couldnt experiment.

@ShadowOfDeth1 This is indeed a Killer Guitar, But Edwards does make a version of Akiras red Random star guitar that he used through out the 80s
