Persons attempting to find a motive in this narrative will be prosecuted; persons attempting to find a moral in it will be banished; persons attempting to find a plot in it will be shot. - Mark Twain

People may be curious about the use of "D-I-E-C-A" in the video. I, when making the video, was under the assumption that "49531" corresponded with the letters of the alphabet, but have recently read that this may not be the case. I have read things ranging from "the numbers correspond to letters" to "the number is significant because it's prime" to "Pinback's lyrics don't mean anything, they are just meant to blend well with the music". Whatever the case may be, I kind of regret putting it in, but it is what it is.

Thanks for watching.

Thanks for watching. I'm sorry that image offended you within this context. When making the slideshow, I carefully picked out all the images used and thought that image (within the umbrella of the 'falling' set) fit. Understanding the terrible things that happened on that day and what it meant for this man to choose the path he did intrigued me within the set. I promise the intention was not to glorify terrorism or mock/trivialize the person's terrible death. Just a tool for introspection.

Have you listened to Pinback's 'Walters'? The focus of that song was how this man, Larry Walters, achieved his dream and was left with a feeling of emptiness, which ultimately led him to take a shotgun into the woods and end his life. Rob Crow wrote this song because he was intrigued by the thought process. Art often focuses on death for this reason, and while my video is a loose version of art, I share his reasoning. I'm of the belief that very few things should be "off limits" within discourse

Thank you for mentioning 'Walters.' I was stuck on the beauty of 'Loro,' now I have another song to be stuck on.

    Any other suggestions?

Definitely. Thanks for watching the video. My favorite Pinback tracks (of the ones not listed): 1. How We Breathe 2. True North 3. AFK 4. Proceed to Memory 5. Sender. If you're looking to get any of their albums, Autumn of the Seraphs doesn't have a bad track on it and is my favorite at the moment. But those are just my opinions.

All of their songs are amazing. But there's something about 'Good to Sea' that gets me every time
