how did you get that Lucas flywheel off? My friend has a BSA power unit but cant get the flywheel off. We need it off because it doesnt have a spark.

Can't remember exactly how I got this one off (I'm getting worse), but most probably used a LITTLE heat on the flywheel boss, a 3 leg puller and some gentle action with a tapping stick (hammer).

Really glad you were finally able to sort the Suffolk engine. They're a great engine to learn on and the experience should stand yo in good stead for bigger and better projects in the future.
