The Glock 30 really is meant to be completely standard with NO lights. The reason is because the baby .45 auto was meant specifically for concealment. So buying a baby glock and adding a light is pretty asanine.

@jaredleospirit You sir, are a dumbass!!! Have you ever grabbed for a gun at 2AM when woke out of a dead sleep because your house was broke into? If you had, you might appreciate the fact that the light is blindingly bright, solid, easily accessed when needed, and means you don't have to worry about using a seperate light if needed (but then again you strike me as the type that would just open fire blindly in the dark, you did with you statement). @jaredleospirit Why did Glock design the 30 with under barrel rails??? So the end user had OPTIONS!!! Did I mention it's quick release??? The best one I ever had, It's a NC star QD "LED" pistol rail light. On eBay running about $30.00... Lights up an acre of backyard like daylight, is bullet proof aluminum, waterproof, and is small and thin. It's QD so no tools required...

And I don't wanna here about a 30 not being a nightstand gun. Buy a glock 21 mag 13 rounds and the extension. Full size grip but smaller size makes it easier to sweep your house

The only reason I don't have a light on my 30 sf is because I have kids and sometimes you only need a light. Don't always need a gun. But if you want it on there have at it.

@jaredleospirit Really? It is meant to be completely standard with a rail manufactured into the frame for a light by Glock huh? Having a light for home defense is also about safety. Its dark. You can't see very well. You put a round into someone who is checking to see if you are okay because your sliding door was left open on accident perhaps. I've had someone check on me like that before. SURE it is stupid for them to just walk into my house like that; but you are still going to prison.

@Hardtailxxx damn you mad bro? Im just saying the glock 30 is a backup gun, its suppose to be small, the light makes it too big for backup gun carry. Me personally I have a full size glock with a tac light for nightstand. But since you have only 1 i see how it makes sense to pop the light on and off.
