This problem started today. The main rocker/joystick button no longer works.

I have contacted F-Secure with a full description of whats happening, so maybe they can help.

I have a phone backup from 3 days ago anyway, so its ok.

  • I know that this is some month ago but.

I had the same problem an all i did was to open the phone.

loose the 4 screws, than open the plate wher "nokia" is writen on.

(there are 3 marks where to open it.)

than loose the last 2 screws and clean your joystick and bend the contacts for the joystick a bit up.

thats all it took me to fix it.

  • i have the exact same problem with my phone right now. i know this vid was posted a couple of years ago, and i'm wondering if you ever got your phone fixed? if so, how?

  • hi guys can i install, fm radio on my phone

    Iceman

  • Shit!!!!

  • its not a virus, it just isnt

  • Hi bro! Relax. This is not a virus. It is a broken joystick. I had the same problem before with another model. -polo-

  • its possible since its windows but its really rare to get viruses on portable devices.

  • Ma che virus è???

  • yes it should work on all nokia symbian phones, and yes its easy to get many viruses on the 6600 coz it haz the old version of symbian OS. the new phones has a new version that doesnt run the old applications and viruses. so there isn't any viruses right now for the new version.

  • Will this method (* and 3 and the green key) work on my N6600?? Symbian rulez:) but it is easy to get a virus:( and AV software doesn't work all the time...
