we have these big ass generator things at our power station. Not quite sure how they make the power, I think the owyhee damn that is about 70 miles away from me powers all of us, it is a big ass damn with big ass generators in them!

Wind operates 24/7....the sun does not. More economical to buy some turbines, instead of solar panels.

If Dave had a field of those or Wind he could generate on 1 100k turbine per 1 Acre. he could net $2,575,446 per year "Net Metering" at .0733 per Kw even if they operated at a 40% capacity which would be typical based on the wind of that region.
He could lease the project to a utility & receive 10% or 250k annually for only land lease more then the $8900 he receives as of now.
Solar is comparable but only yields about 5 Hrs. of power day unlike wind which is more consistent .

I just keep waiting for people's roofs to be made out of those instead of the one or two panels that you see sometimes.
