A buddy of mine travels from coast to coast weekly with electronics of all kind ranging from $10.00-30k. At least once a month he gets his stuff handed back in pieces. He says he just writes them off. When I asked why don't you put in a claim at the airline? He says he would never complain to an airline. His friend did just that and now he is blacklisted as a terrorist! He can not afford to not travel air and therefor just eats it. America the land of drea... sorry I mean the land of monopolys

Its not about United greed, its about Corporate stupidity and union protection at United, without Union interference it would be a simple matter to track down the careless baggage handlers and 'retrain' them, Thats why nobody cares... Union thugs at Pan Am routinely x rayed baggage looking for jewelry and watches. Management knew it but didnt do anything..Pan Am RIP UAL has gone tango uniform twice. Hope this doesnt offend anyone's ideas about the real world but 'I call 'em like they is'
