the show started getting into the swing of things and finding its ground around July of 2009. now he knows what does and doesn't work.

Yep things started to go smoothly around the 100th episode (which btw was a great episode).

Hmmm and who is this legendary ROOTS never heard of them and from what I hear and see on the show I know why.

They are just a jamming band like all garage bands ..nothing special with them.

And they are not a garage band. They are pretty popular and have been for a long time before they even started being the house band.

Yeah. It was pretty decent for a first ep. Slow Jam News was def the best bit. To all the people saying he sucks, just give him a shot. Conan sucked for a while at the start, too.

true jimmy fallon sucked at first, but so does anyone at first, watch some of conans first episodes, and now look how famous and popular he is. jimmy fallon's show is probably my favorite late night talk show, it has improved drastically and i find it incredibly funny now. give it a chance

@Vulturefood I've been in music all of my life also. I don't like Elvis, I don't like metallica, but I do recognize them as being important artists. Especially since all music is built from other music.It's a respect thing, Which you have none. Btw, marconi was the father of the radio, and he is also responsible for every piece of music you enjoy listening to. I typed in their name and listened to their music here on youtube they are awful

Have you ever heard of Marconi? most people haven't, he's the father of modern communications. Brilliant, whether you've heard of him (or the roots for that matter) or not.
