Handing out mortgages like perverts giving candy to children. Sad thing is, they're not likely be punished properly. The country is still run by a mafia. Bankers, politicians, developers, estate agents, builders, journalists and their idiot cronies have wrecked our country. Hoo Haw, now they tell us nobody saw it coming. Who couldn't have seen it coming? It was a crazy time and I'm glad it's over, whatever the cost.

Amazing to watch this video now. Really drives home how incredibly insane Irish business and politics was during the "Tiger" years (and sill is). I can recall how those of us who lived within our means were snubbed by my neighbours who are now in negative equity calling Joe Duffy.
