hand feeding baby zebra finch

I dont usally make it a habit to hand feed zebra finches but a friend had one that was pushed out of the nest and then attacked on the bottom of the cage hurting its foot, I'm a softy and was already handfeeding cockatiels at the time so I took it in it is now a tame free flight finch

where do you buy the food for the handfeeder thing and where did you find the hand feeder thing?

@haxorus456 Food at most large pet stores "kaytee exact , hand feeding formula" and the hand feeder thing is a ear irrigation syringe found at most pharmacies

How do you know when to stop feeding them?

@deanna15128 couple ways, by trying to judge him emptying his crop in two hours, and the crop being distended but not stretched,

When will mine lay eggs? its the rainy season yet they have not layed eggs.
