Ted Turner, chairman of Ted Turner Enterprises and CNN founder, joined T. Boone Pickens, founder of BP Capitol, to debate American energy policy during a joint luncheon, Tuesday, April 19.
Pickens outlined his "Pickens Plan" to reduce America's dependence on Middle East oil through alternate energy sources, such as wind, solar power, and natural gas. Turner discussed renewable solar energy, including his recent solar projects in New Mexico and Atlanta, as well as nuclear disarmament and global politics.
We agree with both of these gentlemen. Utilizing anaerobic digesters to create a distributive network of biogas created electrical energy, heat, pipeline-quality gas and even compressed natural gas vehicle fuels, our methods fit into each of their goals. America much secure our energy future!
