Probably the most intelligent man on the Bush I administration. Makes it even more sad that he thought he had to play their game.

How Colin Powell shows his face in public is beyond me -- he should forever hold his head in shame and disgrace.

His so-called testimony before the UN and on the world stage was critical in the US attack and invasion of Iraq.

It's a matter of record that he questioned and strongly doubted the allegations of Iraqi WMD, but he pushed forward anyway, in great detail, with diagrams, claims and testimony from known liars.

If I were related to him, I would legally change my surname.

Well he worked for that president or maybe you have chosen to forget. With that said there are many even white republicans that feel the country has gone nuts. Colin clearly said why Obama was better and it hard to disagree. Hell the only country in the world that wants a republican goverment is Pakistan....yes terrorist country numero uno...

Strong Reasonement and Arguments by Mr. Powell, a person I always admired, and whom I consider a great strategist with solid princips. Someone with his Inteligence and his Vision had to Quit the Bush Administration, that was a Failure and a Fraud of Gigantic Proportions...

You're mad at African Americans voting for Obama because he's black? Are you also upset with the majority of Obama voters, who are white, that also voted for Obama? I guess with your reasoning they voted for the white half of Obama. You'll say anything to diminish Obama's successful run for president. If a black person votes for a white candidate, then it's because he's a thoughtful and intellectual person. But if a black person votes for a black person, well then it's because he's simply black.

Just because a GOP politician doesn't subscribe to neo-con jignoism doesn't make him a non-Republican.
