Fearless// 26 Part 2

Hey would you guys be mad if I started a new series...? I deleted Sweet Dreams cause I had no idea where it was going. Or would you guys prefer it if I just focus my writing on these two stories for now?

"So why didn't you come over Sunday?" Taylor nagged as the two girls headed down the busy hallway.

"I was just tired and I had homework. I'm really sorry I didn't come." Selena apologized.

"So are you going to tell us what happened between you and Nick?" The girls had spent all of Sunday trying to figure out who was to ask Selena about it and lucky Taylor got the short straw.

"We just kind of talked." Selena herself was still trying to recover from all the new information her brain was taking in.

"Are you guys like back together?" Taylor coolly slipped in.

"No," she rushed out. "We're not back together, but we're not fighting anymore. I think we're just at a halfway point."

"Halfway point," Taylor repeated. "Alright, that's progress. Progress is good."

Selena laughed at her friend, they really did just want the best for her.

The pounding of music filled Selena's ears as she entered Joe Robertson's house. The place was packed with wild teenagers doing everything from grinding in the living room to swimming on Joe's backyard pool.

"Selena!" She heard a voice wail. Hoping it wasn't anyone she would rather not talk to she turned around and to her surprise saw Demi heading towards her fully powered, "Demi?" Selena yelled over the loud music as her best friend hugged her, "What the hell are you doing here?"

"Whoa," Demi giggled as she took a step back, "you need to calm down."

"Calm down," Selena barked, "Why are you even at this party?"

"I could ask you the same thing," Demi grinned playfully.

"Who invited you?" She yelled once more.

"Relax Sel, Joe's doing a project on action reaction with technology. He's seeing how fast people respond to a text message for a party, but he said he only texted me out of all of us." Demi blushed in full bliss.

"You've got to be kidding me." Selena said with a straight face.

"What?" Demi wailed, "Don't you think it means something?"

"You haven't had anything to drink, have you?" She asked worried.

"Come on Selena, get real. I don't drink." This time Demi spoke with a bit more seriousness which made Selena feel a little bit better, "Wait, what are you doing here?" Demi questioned, suddenly snapping back into her senses.

"Uh," Selena stammered, "I've got to use the bathroom. B-r-b." Selena said quickly before bolting out of Demi's sight.

Selena pushed her way through the crowed of people are she tried to read the text message on her phone. Heading towards the hallway, Selena tried to see if there was a way she could get out through the garage. Before she could walk in the direction of it she felt herself being yanked by the arm and into the bathroom next to her.

"What the-" Selena screeched.

"Relax, it's just me." A voice scoffed.

"Zac," Selena shouted in his face, "you could have told me where I needed to meet you, you idiot."
