Great work Agha Kousari. I am almost in the same both as you were. When I was in iran the sound of santur was allways there. I miss it so much now. I really want to learn to play it, but I am not sure where to start. Can you make a video of how you tune the instrument?

Not all dulcimers are santurs,but all santurs are dulcimers. So we were both wrong.

That's probably because it is not a dulcimer, it is a santur. The hammered dulcimer is a more modern adaptation of the santur concept.
