Nice results. I think its the acid in the lemon juice making your hair dry rather than the henna. I read that some people use chamomile tea instead.

I figured you would still want sum info on why your hair is so dry after a henna treatment. Henna is a PROTEIN treatment... meaning it is supposed to add strength to the hair. If your hair is already strong and has all the protien that it needs added protien will result in EXTREMELY dry hair You can actually look this up on youtube Its called protein overload I hope I helped!

Hi! It is nice to meet someone else that uses the indigo with the henna. How are you adding the oils and butters into it? I need help please (lol)!!! The strength is awesome, but i hate my brillo pad feel :(. Always good and bad to everything (sigh).
where did you order you henna?

@kdnbella I ordered it from Mehandi.com :) . You need to make sure any henna you buy is BAQ (Body Art Quality) and not a compound henna. Compound hennas have other "things" added to them. There is no such thing as color hennas, those are compounds.

I mix mine w/ olive oil and cider vinegar instead of lemon juice and I noticed a big difference in dryness. Let me know if u decide to sell yours. I will gladly buy it. I was going to order some tmw anyway.
