Rumors is that wireless charging is possible. Researchers at the Department of Defense have come up with a way to use radio waves to spark electricity in copper wires to charge a mobile device. If it is true, then the future will be wireless charging, however strong that may be.

@factionxvt408x It's supposed to seat seven, with two removable (or fold-away?) rear facing seats in the boot. You could probably fit a few more under the bonnet, since that's also empty haha.

The future may even see plug-less electronic-wave charging. Once you activate the charging with your cell phone, your car begins charging without plugs or wires. It may take longer and you may only get a little charge out of it, but 10% is enough for you to get home during emergencies.
