F-16 is a single-seat, single-engine, multiple role fighter, designed for all weather operations and capable of carrying a great variety of weapon systems. Greece has in its air arsenal about 70 F-16s, BLOCK 30 and BLOCK 50. In 1989 Greece purchased 40 BLOCK 30 under the Arms Programme "Peace Xenia I" and in 1997 40 additional BLOCK 50 aircraft were delivered to Greece as part of "Peace Xenia II". The Hellenic F-16s BLOCK 30 and BLOCK 50 are based in the air base of Larissa (110 Combat Wing, 346 Squadron "Iason") and in the air base of New Anchialos (111 Combat Wing, 330 "Thunder", 341 "Arrow" and 347 "Perseas" Squadrons). All the Hellenic Air Force F-16s wear the "Aegean Ghost" camouflage, which is very efficient in Aegean operational environment.

  • @spookyNorbert

Yeah but still, it didn't blow up.

  • @spookyNorbert The speed was exactly at what it should be at 11 degrees AOA, the flight computer tells that to the pilot taking into account the weight of the aircraft (stores, fuel etc), the flare however was a bit late.

  • before 2012 ( the end the the world) happens, i'll steal an f166 and do all the craziest stupid things with it!!!!!!!!!!!!! i love the f16...

  • ELLINARES MOY

  • watch?v=E57BwLEO7PI

  • lol at all the "experts" down there - this pilot had >3 years of training to become an F16 pilot and probably some thousand hours on that jet already and all you guys down there still know it better how he should have put his plane down...I bet you can't even land a C150

  • if that shut be a perfect landing, then there are many many many pilots who can make a perfect landing

  • This is Perfect landing?

i think Very bad landing Lmao

  • I'm not a real F-16 pilot but from what I know 11 degrees AoA is ok for landing, although 13 is more common. With 11 you have a little more room for flare...
