Batty's a bat, that has escaped from a biology lab, where they did scientific tests on him. He has an antenna on his head, causing him to receive parts of radio messages.

Funny yet cruel at the same time.

Batty's voice is done by Robin Williams. He's a great actor and Batty is my favourite character. Watch it to find out why!
