  • My problem with the stop loss isnt because of what it does to soldiers...but what it does to units. Once a unit returns from a deployment they lose around 30% of its NCO core each time. And with yr on yr off rotation it destroys and weakens units....instead of them geting out naturaly and being replaced one for one

  • yea your right the law is the law. so why are police arresting people for things that are not against the law and violating are civil rights??

  • Sure, stop loss sucks, but it's not like it's a surprise. I can't even remember how many times stop loss is mentioned in writing. Without stop loss, half our military could be out of service before a conflict ends. These people did swear an oath before the flag and their god of choice to serve for 8 years if necessary. The war is poorly planned and a disaster, yes, but the law is the law.
