@SilverFox466 my miles are way up since I posted that previous comment. Over 10,500 miles in July, over 11,000 miles in August. I haven't run September's numbers yet, but they kept me busy as a one-legged man in an ass-kicking contest.

@TruckerRedbeard The 8600 on average a month sounds right. The problem is if you have a family or a house or both that is not enough money. I drove for them for 2 years and thank God I had to leave due to medical reasons. I had to go to school and collect financial aid just to make ends meet. In order to get home I had to schedule medicle appointments - otherwise they kept me on the East Coast (hated it). Also everything is an incident with this company and they try to charge the driver.

@gregwelch100 I've gotten the recruitment bonus exactly once. That was not long after I started with Crete as a company driver. I did not post my real name or truck number, so I could not collect a recruitment bonus based on a post here. I also posted real numbers which show me getting about 8600 miles/month average. Not that good. Yet I still make a decent living because my profit per mile is very good.

@tbaaag1 I drove a Crete company truck for 2 years. Now I'm an owner/operator leased to Crete. I've averaged a net profit of $4,300/month, or about $0.50/mile over the 4 months I've been an O/O with Crete. This despite a horrible November, caused in large part by my being out of work for over a week with a bad case of the flu. October was a good month - and like a smart businessman, I kept some of that money in reserve for bad months like November.

I visited Crete's home base in Lincoln, NE, and i to was impressed with the professionalism of the employees. We met and spoke with repair staff, office and drivers. Brent was open, at least as far as i could tell, when asked questions there. Good luck to you Craig, be safe this winter!
